15 February 2025 (LONDON, UK) Jen Juanitez embarks on her first single "Teka Lang", under an indie record label Side Projects Productions.​

The track "Teka Lang" was featured on the Side Projects "Basta", a compilation album which was released early this year.​

 

Its idiosyncratic nature blended with inescapable melodies of heartaches gave this song grit that even the vocals could not help but saturate. "It was difficult for me to relate to the music at first because I didn't want to appear weak in a breakup situation", said Jen. "I only hope that I lived up to the trust that was placed in me to execute this dark horse", she added. This is an alternative rock music with synthesis of rap, was written and produced by Port Mallillin and arranged by Gary Valenciano's sessionist Ritchie Ramos.​

 

It is a long way from her endeavours as a product of  Center for Pop Music Philippines (home of Rachel Ann Go, Sarah Geronimo and Erik Santos), where she performed her first solo concert entitled "In Control", held at SM Megamall. In addition to Jen being a member at the Centro Escolar University Manila Choir, she has also been involved as a vocalist at the Hillsong Music Ministry. Jen remarks, "I do have a lot of things that I want to see accomplished in the near future such as write a song that would mean the most to the mothers and produce music events".​​
